Our first engagement session as The Studio Noir! This couple was a blast to photograph. We are shooting their wedding this coming Saturday and we can’t wait!

Today Laura and I (The Studio Noir [website coming soon!]) finished designing our very first engagement album which will be used by one of our couple’s as the sign-in book for their wedding! We are very excited to see the hard copy when it arrives in a few days!

So a lot has happened this past month. I have decided to partner up with a former classmate from photography school, Laura Widness, to start a wedding (and portrait) photography business. We have already started meeting with clients and signing contracts to do weddings for this year and for 2010. We are really psyched about the whole thing. The business’ name is The Studio Noir. We just purchased a website and have been working with a designer to come up with a logo and branding for our company. I will be sure to let you all know when the website is up and running so you can check it out.
We have also moved to a new apartment right outside of Boston where we have an in house office and consultation room where we can meet with future clients. Things are going pretty well over here with both Avenna Studios and The Studio Noir! Check back for updates soon!
